I've always used a CHI flat iron, for 6 years now and it's still going strong, so I know Farouk makes top quality products. Thought I would try this CHI volumizer flat iron because of the smaller plates and curve of the plates. Rather than turning my wrist, this flat iron does it for me because of it's design. It's light weight and very easy to handle.I absolutely LOVE it. Leave it to CHI to come up with somehting so inovative. I have not seen this volumizer flat iron anywhere else but misikko.com. I have straight hair already but I had seen pictures online of this iron being used to sculpt really defined waves and curls. I don't really like the way curling irons force you to do a whole strand and make it hard to target areas, so I thought this would be the iron for me. So far I am really happy - because of the curved barrel I can get great design and shape but because there's no clip I can put them wherever I want. I'm really having fun getting different looks out of this iron. Thanks chi and Misikko!
This was just what I needed! I was trying to use a regular flat iron to gently curl my hair, I was wishing someone would make one with a curve! Works perfectly. The quality seems fine. No problems.
I was surprised that my hair really did have more body after using this. Love that it's thin, because it makes it easy to get my bangs, etc. Minus one star because it takes longer to heat up than my GHD straightener (which can also add curls & waves).
