This hair dryer is VERY GOOD. Forget what you hear about ionic and tourmaline and what not, all you need is this dryer. The heat settings are good and the force of the air is great. Compared to the T3 of mine, which I replaced with this one because my T3 burned out, it is much better. It leaves my thick, curly/wavy hair with MUCH LESS frizz than the T3, and I live in Florida where it is currently July with 85% humidity most of the day. I barely use products in my hair, just a light Aveda liquid gel and some hair spray, so the results of the less frizz are certainly to be attributed to this great dryer. It is heavier than the T3, but not ridiculously heavy as some dryers can be. I will never go back to the overpriced dryers they sell at places like Sephora again. This is an AMAZING hair dryer for the money, and quality.
Also, Misikko's customer service is great. They shipped my order very quickly and even gave me some free samples and other goodies.
I spent a conciderable amount of time researching hair dryers. Perhaps, in fact, too much time for a hunderd dollar item. But time and time again my research pointed me in this direction. I am glad it did. I am thrilled with my purchase, it has been two months now and nothing but good things to say about this dryer. I would suggest if you are looking for a well priced high quality hair dryer, you should consider this Elchim.

This dryer is light-weight, leaves hairy shiny and silky, and provides the perfect heat/air settings. I absolutely love it. It is used in salons everywhere, and for a good reason. This is a great professional hair dryer. I also own a Solano, BaByliss, and a T3 travel dryer. The Elchim is just as good, if not better than those. I saw it at a beauty store yesterday for $139, so a $40 savings purchasing it from Misikko was sure appreciated!
This an awesome hair dryer. This dryer gave me the same results as my hairdresser. This dryer dryed my hair quickly. I will never go back to a drugstore hairdryer again.
