Styling tips DVD is really good and showing you exactly how versatile this tool really is. I mean anyone can figure out how to get standard curls with it but this helps you figure out how to tackle updos that you would never think you could do at home.

I actually have hair that is kindof curly but not in a pretty way. I used to try and straighten with my flat iron and then curl but it took way too long. The real amazing thing about a curling wand is that you have absolute freedom to widen or tighten the curls even within the same section! it's almost like curling irons are the training wheels you need to get to using a rod.

This size is perfect for small bouncy curls and I have found that if I space out the hair further on the surface of the rod I can get bigger curls whenever I want.
