I first came to know your products while shopping at my local Target store. I was considering this one but decided to wait. The price is SO MUCH BETTER here I'm glad I waited. And free shipping!
I just got my chi in the mail today, and when i opened the box, there were tons of gifts inside with the straightener! i was so excited! i used the chi, and boy, it did a FANTASTIC job on my hair(: i went back and went through the gifts misikko had sent me! i got free lip gloss, these plastic flowers, a case for the straightener, sanitizer, and these wisp things. The chi left my hair silky, and not at all fried. Plus, it did the job within ten minutes, twenty minutes faster than my old straightener! THANK YOU MISIKKO!
I came to know about the chi by a friend, i tried it and now i bought my own a week ago. this is the best flat iron ever. i have the worlds worst hair its curly, wavey, thick, and very long. i use to use a cheap flat iron from a store and it would take up to 3 hours to do my hair and now it takes me 30-45 minutes. i love the chi

I've had this flat iron for about a year now and I LOVE IT. My hair is super thick so with a standard iron straightening my hair it can take up to 45 minutes. With CHI, it only takes me about 15 minutes tops.
I bought the temperature control of this exact model. It stopped working after a year! I am not happy right now. I am trying to find out how long they are suppose to last. I thought a while, but mine just stopped working and I took care of it.
I love CHI Flat Irons. The only problem that I have with this one, is that I have to be careful cause the out side of the iron gets really hot. But over all I love it.
I usually don't like to purchase items online, but this was the best move I ever made. The iron arrived in perfect condition and on time as promised! It was a great price and well worth it. Not only is my hair straight and smooth, it also does not take much time.
I thought I would find it difficult to use. No problems so far. I have thick course hair - mostly gray. It takes the frizz and bulk out of my hair leaving it shiny. I'm quite pleased
I got this flat iron for my birthday, and it's a miracle. Before it I had a Conair with no ceramic plates, it would heat up in 15 minutes. The Chi is amazing. It heats up in under 5 minutes, and the plates don't cause damage to your hair. When you use it you rarely get any fly-a-ways. I would definitely recommend the Chi. It's a great product.
Anyone who thinks the chi original is the best is probably stuck in the 90's. The chi hasn't been good for at least 5 years and it makes me angry as a stylist when my clients try to tell me that it's the best. It doesn't have adjustable heat settings, it doesn't get hot enough, it doesn't have have tourmaline, and even the more expensive chi's are just gimmicky crap IMHO.
I love this iron, it heats up fast, does the job quick and cools down evenly... Doesn't cook my hair or cause frizz and I love how you can use it to style in waves, curls, straight, and flips.
So I don't usually do reviews but as a stylist I wanted to help those of you who are looking at the crazy reviews. Simply put the CHI is a pretty ok iron. If you were using a cheap Conair or walmart bought iron you will think it is great. If you're a stylist who has used a more professional iron you'll probably feel it just barely gets the job done. I have a corioliss that was 15 bucks more that's much better and my my babies are my runway and hana elite. Hey Misikko, how about a discount for my professional advice ;)
The Chi Iron is really wonderful. It warms up really fast and straightens my waist length thick hair really fast. I've had the iron for 3 years and it was my most prized item the only sad part is after 3 years it just randomly stopped working without misuse or abuse. I've heard many irons short circuit after a while.. but either way I'm just buying a Hana this time around.
I love this flat iron! Very easy to use, heats very quickly, and transforms my hair leaving it beautifully straight and infusing it with shine and moisture. My hair looks healthier after using it.
I've been a hair stylist for 20 years and this is the absolute best flat iron I have ever used!! I have owned one for two years now and it works GREAT!!
So far, so good. The paddles aren't supposed to press tightly together, which is good to know. It gets very hot quickly. I appreciated the free heat-resistant pad to protect the counter. I had some questions about the product that were answered in very timely fashion by Misikko staff.
WOW! I LOOOVE my CHI. It actually straightens my hair pin straight unlike all those other Wal-mart straighteners. And it takes less then half the time it used to take! I have never used anything better and I will continue buying chi products, and also recommending them to friends! ! !
At first I was debating on whether or not to get this iron and once I got it I was glad of the results. The CHI heats really quickly and you can use it without feeling it pulling through your hair. Furthermore, because of the cord that has the 360degrees swivel it makes it easier to use. The cord doesn't get all messy.

I've had a Chi iron for about five years when it stopped working. I browsed the internet for Chi prices and came across this site. The classic Chi irons are about $50 more expensive in stores, and I bought from Misikko for only $85 and free shipping! I've had no problems with it and use it daily.

Omg!! This flat iron is good! Probably the best that you can find and it is really cheap too I defiantly recommend this product. You can do a lot of styles with this iron...Straighten your hair, curl it, and flip it. It’s incredible...but you have to be careful not to burn yourself because it gets really hot almost 360 degrees. I got this flat iron because my cousin had one and I loved it...it was love at first. I tried it and it worked stupendously right away. I told myself I had to get one even if it was the last thing I did. It takes much less time straighten my long and thick hair. I liked buying it here at Misikko.com because it came with a free gift.

Ive had a CHI for almost 5 years now and the only issue it started to have was the LED light was going out. I went overseas and it fried in the outlet, but other than that, its worked wonders! I have long curly hair and I love it straight. It worked better when I first got it, but still a great tool!
I had my flat iron for 2 yrs with no problems, but then I accidentally shorted it out. I had to get another ASAP & the original black chi is so much better than any of the other models.
I bought the Chi for myself and I loved it. Misikko is great about the shipping. The shipping was free and FAST!! Also came with a free heat pouch! The Original Chi went on a great sale for Black Friday 2008 so I ordered one for my best friend! She always raved how much she loved mine, so I bought one for her for X-Mas!
The chi did work for me until it broke, all of my (5) friends had one too until theirs also broke. It did straighten my hair pretty well and i have wavy thick hair. But I'm warning everyone do not spend the money on an exspensive straightener if its not going to last you a whole year.
I don’t like it. It does not even have a temperature regulator which means it would fry my hair at 300 something degrees. It wiggles back and forth looks very cheap..
I have bought (2) Chi flat irons in my life. One that I purchased at my hair salon lasted for 4 years! The next one was purchased at Beauty Max. It lasted 1.5 years. My 3rd Chi, purchased from this website is wonderful! The cord does not coil up as bad as my last one! I was very impressed with the integrity of this website. The price beats any vendor I've seen.
I received this as a birthday gift from my boyfriend not too long ago. He told me he bought the CHI because he heard it was the best brand out there. After using it, I told him that it might have been the best brand 5 years ago but it's not all that special now.
I love my Chi - this is the fourth iron that I own but this is really the best one that I have. I've gone ahead and thrown away my others. The Chi works super well, straightens in half the time as the others and leaves a sleek, shiny look!
