FHI Runway Flat Iron 1" (100% Ceramic)
Developed for the height of professional style, the FHI Heat Runway Edition Flat Iron uses pure ceramic - 6 baked layers of it - and these self-adjusting, beveled plates will never peel or damage hair.
True solid ceramic means maximum infrared heating, with tourmaline technology for the most advanced negative ionic action around; these plates heat up 33% faster than FHI's leading Platform series and use a state of the art, patented Integrated Ceramic Heating System developed by a leading manufacturer of ceramic heaters.
1" self-adjusting, beveled plates straighten, flip and curl
Safe for damp-to-dry
100% pure ceramic will never peel or damage hair
Patented ICHS (integrated ceramic heating system) heats up faster and recovers heat instantaneously for virtually no loss
Nano Fuzeion = Nano Ti + NanoTiO2 + Nano Ag Technology: tourmaline technology for maximum shine, conditioning, frizz control and hair color preservation; nano silver keeps plates and hair clean and free of bacteria.
Variable temperature from 140-450 for all hair types
Made in Korea
Important:
The benefits of pure ceramic require a little extra care from the stylist - without a metal baseplate, solid ceramic plates break more easily if used roughly or dropped. Please use your pure ceramic iron with care for best results and longest life!
Please Note:
The red LED above the on/off switch will remain steady when the iron is on but not fully heated; it will blink when the iron has reached its designated temperature. No red light (with the switch in the on position) means the iron is in the process of decreasing the temperature to a lower heat setting.

The Rolls Royce of Hair straighters. I have never spent this much on a hair product, but if this is any indication you get what you pay for. I have nothing but good to say about it and delivery was fast and purchasing was very easy. Although for 299 dollars it should be. I would definitly recommend it and will probably purchase another one when it is needed. Hopefully that will not be for quite a few years.
I have extremely Frizzy and Thick African(Nigerian) hair. The type of hair that just won't listen. I purchased this product and I used it immediately and the results were crazy. I could run my fingers through my hair and it was healthy NO Damage or breaking.....This flat iron can straighten ANYBODYS hair....there's nothing this flat iron can't do.
I've had 2 runways and I read somewhere that the H2pro was the same as the fhi and so I ordered it through my stylist (I paid over $300 by the way!) and when I got it I knew right away that it may LOOK like a runway but it defiately isn't a runway. I ended up returning it to the salon, they were SO pissed, and getting the runway here instead.
I work at a salon and I really like the way the runway works but it starts to feel a little heavy with continuous work... my old fhi platform and my coworker's wide hana elite are both lighter so I think I might need to switch because my arm gets too tired. The heatproof pouch is really nice though because now I can just pop the iron in the pouch even when it's still a little hot without waiting for it to cool down.
I've read in a lot of magazines and advertisements that the runway was the best iron period. My last iron was the FHI platform and honestly I thought the runway would be a lot better but it doesn't really live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, it's really good but so was my platform and I thought the extra money would be worth it... My stylist told me I should try a solid plate ceramic iron next time... and that maybe it's because the runway's got six little plates instead of one big one. I dunno, the articles all said it was the best so maybe I'll get used to it.
I own a few 100% ceramic irons and to be quite honest they all work really well. With ceramic coated irons I used to only use the superstars but I find that with pure ceramic they all produce similar results. My only qualm with the Runway is that the white plates that look so great coming out of the box turn to an ugly brown after a while which isn't exactly what my customers want to touch their hair. Just thought you guys would want to know from my experience.
I use this and the Elite in my salon and will only consider the best for my clients. Competitive prices and FAST shipping keep me coming back to this website for my purchases.
I was a little skeptical about the fhi and the 400 dollar price tag! So I had my stylist do my hair with the fhi and I fell in love with it! ! I have very thick, naturally curly, long hair! I usually wear it in pony tale! However after I got I wear it down! My hair is shinny, straight and so soft and it last about a week! I own the chi now and see a huge difference between the two! I highly recommend it and I am saving up to buy one!
It's amazing. My old CHI was good, but the FHI Heat Runway takes hair straightening to a whole different level. One or two passes leaves hair extremely straight and silky and shiny. Had a slight problem with burnt hair smell at first, but applying a little Hana Shine Serum beforehand completely fixed that. Highly recommended.
