This flat iron is wonderful. I am a Black American female and I have semi-coarse hair and this flat iron works really good on my hair. The only thing I would have done differently was spend a little more money on the one that has the adjustable heat setting but its okay because I use the flat iron and when I wrap my hair everynight I don't have to flat iron it again for a while. This is really good to use when you are between relaxers or streching. The only thing I stress while using this flat iron is MAKE SURE YOU USE A HEAT PROTECTANT. This iron can get really hot and you want to protect your hair. But, if you are looking for a good flat iron this is a good one. I brought mine at Target for maybe 80 bucks...

I would totally recommend this flat iron. I have naturally curly hair. I usually use a hot comb to press my hair. After using the FHI flat iron I recieved many compliments from others about the texture and look of my hair. Everyone was amazed at how straight my hair was and how soft it felt. The best thing about it is that I didnt loose the texture of my natural hair when I was ready to wash it again. It heats up fast and works wonders. I am very pleased with this product and I would recommend it to any and everyone! BEST FLAT IRON IVE USED EVER!!!!
