I absolutely adore my FHI... but the shade of pink isn't exactly what I was expecting. But my hair is so smooth and silky after I use it so I'm happy!
I decided on this one as it seemed to fit my needs...plus it was pink! I came back on the site to see what other beauty needs Misikko could fill. Very happy with my purchase!
My stylist keeps raving about FHI and so I ended up getting this from Misikko and I didn't really like it. The cool part was that my customer service rep Amanda let me send it back and upgrade to a pure ceramic iron and just pay the difference. I only paid $30 extra bucks and I got a 100% ceramic iron!
I too just recently purchased the FHI Pink Platform 1 ceramic flat iron, and not only am I pleased with their performance, but also with the excellent and expeditious service that Misikko offers. This is my first purchase of this product line and with this distributor. I love my ceramic iron because my daughters and I take serious interest in our hair and what we use on it, because if your hair is right, it compliments everything else. My four daughters have gone back to non-chemical treated-natural hair and the FHI ceramic with great conditioning gives us all great bounce, body, and soft shiny hair! They heat fast and maintain their temperature. I love the pink color! Thanks Misikko for the gift of the Hana shine shield, it too 2008-05-become a favorite!
I gave this item to my daughter for Christmas. Her old one was on its last legs (it was just a cheap one). Wow, what a difference! Her hair was so soft after she straightened it with the FHI Platform. With the old iron, it just looked brittle and dry. This one doesn't seem to cause any damage at all, her hair is shiny and swings normally. My youngest daughter has now requested one for herself. Also, Misikko shipped the package quickly. I'll definitely shop here again.
I LOVE this iron! What’s weird is when I run it through my hair, my hair is not very hot - but it’s straight! It does not dry or fry my hair out, it seals the cuticle and is light and easy to use. I’ve tried many flat irons and after some in depth research about my needs (I relax my roots every 8 - 10 weeks, but like to keep 2-3 inches of my ends natural 4a). So, I can say this flat iron works wonder on natural and relaxed hair. It’s got all the features of all the best flat irons in 1! Very even Ceramic heat, Nano, Tourmaline, and a varied temp setting. I LOVE IT! And this site’s service is very good!
This is the best iron I have ever owned. It gets soooo hot sooo fast. Within seconds it is ready and makes my hair straight without that weird too straight look (bc you can curl under at the bottom unlike other irons). I have VERY thick and unruly hair and in mere minutes it tames it! I am in Cosmo school and needed an iron that got to 450 for the Brazilian and this is the best. Plus, in pink it is sooo cute!
I PURCHASED MY FLAT IRON ON 9/17/08, AND I LOVE IT. MY HAIR IS CURLY AND FREEZY MOST OF THE TIME, WHEN I USE THE FHI MY HAIR LOOKS BEAUTIFUL AND IT FEELS SO SOFT!! I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANY ONE WHO WANTS LOOK HOTT. MY HUSBAND LOVES IT, HE THINKS I LOOK SEXY WITH STRAIGHT HAIR!!!
I have elbow length hair and have to haul my hair dryer and flat iron to work and gym 3-4 times a week living in NYC. So I couldn't buy a 2 inch flatiron that weighed 4 pounds. I had bought a FHI technique and hated it...it was too hot and snagged my hair. So I used a SEDU which weighed a ton and was too large to use for styling. I saw this FHI Platform Pink iron a few weeks ago and though ok let me try it and if I hate it I will send it back. Well there is no way I am sending this back ...I can control the temperature for my highlighted colored hair and its lightweight and best of all its the 1 inch model !!! and since my hair is elbow length I can curl the ends or go threw it easy to make it straight. My whole head takes 15-20 mins and I have a pretty good amount of hair. So if you have long hair don't be scared of the pretty one inch pink FHI platform it works beautifully on long hair and it gives you more control with heat and styling. PLUS it wont break your back if you have to haul it around. P.S. I did my research and hands down MISIKKO is the best website on service and cost for this item !!!
