I tried this iron after my stylist recommended it but now that they don't sell it she's recommending something else... so I guess they're just trying to sell me on things. I do like the way it works though but by sister has the salon pro hana and I like hers a lot more. I think she got hers with a salon discount though so it was cheaper. Hope this helps!

I’ve had awful luck with strengtheners in the past! I used to have a Conair one that didn’t get hot enough to straighten even the smallest piece of my hair. I’ve also had Hot Tools straighteners in the past but one side of them always stops working! I heard from my friends that the Tourmaline ceramic straighteners are the ones to get because, even though the cost a little bit more than other ones, they do wonders to your hair. OMG I could not have asked for a better straightener. My hair feels so smooth, it heats up so quickly!! I’m so glad I bought it from this company too because they included a free heat proof mat so the straightener doesn’t heat up the surface I set it down on, and some glossy shine stuff. The shine stuff smells so good and leaves my hair feeling so silky!!! I highly recommend this product to everyone!! ahhh I love my straightener it only takes me like 7 min to straighten it (oh yeah I’ve timed it) where before it would take be a half an hour with my cheap Conair one!!!!!!

I have very fine latin hair but a LOT of it and down past my shoulders and I used this hairart for a month and it started giving me breakage and dried out hair... my stylist recomemmend that I get a nicer iron so I got an iron with tourmaline crystals and it protects so much better. I would stay away if you have thin hair!

I love how this iron works! My hair is smooth and shiney. I still have the one I bought 8 years ago! That's a pretty good investment!
