The Hana Styling Iron Cleaner is safe for use on professional flat iron plates, curling iron barrels and other stylers. Use it on ceramic, tourmaline, titanium and gold to remove caked on or burnt-on residue from styling products - use after every use for best results to prevent tough build-up. Safe and non-toxic.

Instructions:
Unplug warm iron (allow to cool down to medium warmth before touching plates
Hold iron over a towel and spray surface to be cleaned
Let cleaner sit for 1-10 minutes until build-up is dissolved
Wipe plates with a soft, damp towel; repeat if necessary
For stubborn residue build-up, scrubbing with a soft brush may be helpful
Use daily for best results to prevent tough build-up

My daughter bought a new iron from you guys and she ordered the iron cleaner as an add on. I decided to try it on my old superstar iron and I was disgusted and amazed by how much junk was cleaned of my plates! It's actually hotter now that the plates are clean! I figure i just save a hundred bucks because I was going to buy a new one.
I've always just used rubbing alcohol to clean off my plates but then I tried this iron cleaner and it works really really well without having a really bad smell. It was a little pricey but this bottle should last me a long time! Great product!

I was talking to your extremely helpful customer service department and they recommended that I purchase this with my flat iron. I'm so glad they did. I wouldn't have ordered it otherwise...and it keeps my iron in prime condition.
My stylist told me that a lot of hair damage occurs when you let the stuff on the iron get charred and then it gets on your hair. I never knew it mattered so Im going to start cleaning my irons every month at least.
I really didn't want to pay $24.oo for cleaner, but this stuff is FANTASTIC. It's amazing what a CLEAN flat iron will do! Ladies, don't use a dirty flat iron. Using a clean flat iron really makes a difference in your hair texture and results of the ironing. I learned my lesson! A dirty Flat Iron will ruin your hair. This cleaner is great!
Should have ordered this a looong time ago. Works in minutes. It would take me forever to get my iron cleaned the way I was doing it. (Believe me, you don't want to know!) Anyway, helps me out in a big way.
My stylist recommended that I clean my iron every 2 weeks to make sure that the ceramic stays in good shape. I actually do it every week because I think I get better results when the plate is completely clean!
I just bought this for my new HANA flat iron (which I love, btw) I really didnt expect it to be all that different from the hot tools cleaner I got last year but it is MUCH BETTER at getting the burnt on stuff.
This cleaner is amazing! Not only will it clean off any product you 2008-05-use on your hair but it gives the plates a great shine making it look brand new!!
