This is the best flat iron by far especially for the price. I have natural hair, and it worked wonders. I had a CHI, Superstar, and have tried FHI. They all work it just takes me a lot longer with them. The Hana is quick and easy to straighten and leaves my hair silky. I love it and I would definitely recommend it.
I've been very skeptical about buying products online just because I don't get a chance to look and touch and physically buy the products. I decided to buy with misikko because I spoke with the representative at misikko and she helped me pick out the perfect iron for me and my wallet and she told me to put the order in online because it would go through faster that way, and it did! I just got my hana pro in the mail today and I was so excited! The packaging was so pretty! I even got hand sanitizer (thanks for looking out for flu season, misikko!) and a free sample of the hana shine shield. I have only used it once and I am completely hooked. I can't imagine life anymore without hana products. My younger sister even got the extra flat iron pouch misikko provided. She's happy too! Before buying the Hana Pro, I used an iron by Biosilk that I purchased for roughly $60. With the Biosilk iron, I had to pass it through my hair multiple times to achieve a straight look. Even after multiple passes my hair was still left a little frizzy and definately dull and dry. I would have to add a shine serum or spray to give it some life back. With the Hana Pro all I need is one pass and I get smooth, straight, shiney and SILKY hair. I never thought I could achieve silky hair. This iron transforms the texture of my hair. I have recieved sooo many compliments and people are always wanting to touch my hair! I'm very satisfied!
My stylist uses the Elite model but recommended that I get a HANA because they come with a longer warranty and they get up to 450. I was a little concerned because I ended up buying the Pro model but I am really blown away by the results and by the way the iron just glides through my hair! A friend of mine told me about the Hana Pro and suggested I tried it. I have been very happy with the Iron and am getting ready to purchase another one. This new one for my mom. It you are going to buy a FLat iron in this price range I suggest this one more than any. It works extremely well and seems to last a long time.
My boyfriend got this for me on my birthday and although he's usually hopeless when it comes to buying me gifts (last year it was a old woman scarf!) this year he did good! The plates get super hot and when used with my shine shield my hair's holding up really well against the humidity here as well. Very happy with it!

I just got my iron today, and tried it out. I love it so much, it glided through my hair without snagging and i also tried to wave my hair- it worked beautifully. I am a very picky customer and was very skeptical about trying a new product because I have been using the Corioliss flat iron for years. The HANA is by far the best flat iron in the world. It is lightweight and leaves my hair extremly shiny without even having to use shine serum. I RECOMMEND everyone to switch to this iron I no longer even go to the beauty parlor anymore. I love this flat iron. It makes my hair so smooth much easier than my Infrashine. With my Hana thermal shield, my hair smells and feels amazing. Well some may not like the smell of the thermal shield, but it reminds me of salons, so I love it. However it is kind of runny so be careful. I am so glad my parents bought me this for Christmas, I don't have to share a straightener with my mom anymore. Trust me, put your money into this straightener, you won't regret it!
Ok, folks, I have about 400.00 worth of flat irons lying around my house. Sad but true. I have a GHD original and a Sedu Revoultion just sitting there looking at me. Upon deciding I wanted a longer hair style, it became apparent that my wavy, voluminous hair would need a lot of work. Making do with a cheap flat iron for awhile was an unpleasant experience. The thin, painted on plate coating began to peel before long, revealing the metal beneath. This contributed to my hair constantly being caught and subsequently yanked, and what wasn't ripped out was getting plenty of damage. Not only did it take forever to heat up, it took forever to straighten my hair.
Fast forward to receiving the HANA Professional 1" the other day. It heats up quickly, and the LED indicator lets me know exactly when it's ready. Instead of the pulling of my old flat iron, my hair just glides (and I mean GLIDES) between the HANA Pro's plates. Thanks to the smooth curves on the plate edges, flipping it in or out at the end is a breeze. My hair feels so much smoother, and looks it as well. The biggest surprise, though, was the time I saved. The HANA Pro has quite literally cut my straightening time in half. What used to be several passes to get straight(ish) results now takes only one or two strokes. Throw in a long swiveling cord, and an unexpectedly well packaged product with little extras, and I couldn't be happier. Best purchase I ever made for my hair. :)

I just got my flat iron today and am already in love. I had a CHI flat iron that worked great and lasted 5 years. I was unsure of which one I should buy this time around. The price and reviews convinced me to try this out and I'm glad I did. I can already tell the difference between this one and my CHI. It does not tug at my hair like my old one did. I never had a flat iron before. I found this site and did my research and purchased the Hana Pro. It arrived the next day and was packaged so beautifully too. Came with a little bottle of hand sanitizer and emery boards. There was a big purple bow with white polka dots around the heat mat that came with it. I am so pleased with the results I am getting from the Hana Pro. My hair is fine and frizzy. This is probably the first time in my life that I can get my hair to behave. I am 62 years old and I just started to use a flat iron and let me tell you, I have never received so many compliments in my entire life! My stylist colors my hair every month for coverage and suggested that I get the Hana Professional because it protects better than other brands and I am very happy with how easy it is to use. I actually bought a chi first and it did not get nearly hot enough. Actually I couldnt even change the temperature. So I returned it and got this Hana and it is SOOOO much better!

I have always used both hands to straighten and this iron is design really well for it with the grooves at the end that stay cool enough to hold down on even at 450. My hair is so much healthier now. THANK YOU HANA!

I have to say that I am more than satisfied with my overall experience of ordering my HANA Pro straightener. As soon as I ordered my straightener, I received many updates on the shipping process, and YES, it did arrive in a timely manner! When I opened up the package, the box was very nicely decorated...which was a nice surprise! It came with detailed instructions on how to use the straightener and a lot of cool gifts! There is so much that I want to say about the website and HANA pro (good things obviously). I love how accurate they are with the deliverey date. I only waited two days and recieved it today. When I opened the box, Misikko decked it all out. I really thought it was valentine's day ;). Thanks for the free stuff! Now on to the HANA pro. THANK YOU SO MUCH! haha my hair is ridiculous. It's thick and it starts to get poofy and wavy when there is nothing being done to it. Also, on the side of my head I have a good amount of hair that is so hard to straighten. I would have to run over it a few times with the flat iron. I got the HANA shine shield advanced heat along with the flat iron. I put that on before blow drying and made my hair smooth and less frizzy which is nice. When I used the flat iron, it heated up fast and was ready to go. I only had to go over it once! my god i was happy. It even got rid of that chunk that is hard to get straight. End results. It took me like twenty minutes to get it all straight, leaves my hair so soft like i thought my hair was soft before but no it is so soft and shiny too. Its not frizzy and looks like i went to the salon. No lie, I went downstairs to check my hair in the bathroom and my dad asked me if I got a haircut. First compliment for my first use. I LOVE MISIKKO AND HANA! Honestly best choice I made for flat irons. I def recommend it but to my friends, its my dirty little secret =)
By far the best flat iron, I've owned. I owned a Paul Mitchel flat iron for a few years and loved it, but couldnt afford to get another similar. Took the advise from the reviews on the Hana and it surpases my expectations. The presentation of the shipment was outstanding and I recieved it the day it was scheduled to arrive. I have curly, frizzy hair and surprisingly only needed to go over my hair once to straighten each section. Great investment. Highly recommended this product.

I have to be honest. I read alot of these reviews and didn't believe it. But I bought it the same day and I am truly impressed. I have invisible braids and this flat iron keeps them BONE STRAIGHT. It does not tangle your hair or burn it. It was well worth the money and thank you to the company for the cute packaging & gifts.
The iron is really light and small and works great. I'm not one to be easily impressed, but the service from Missiko is absolutely awesome. You actually feel special. I placed my order before Thanksgiving and a few hours after ordering, I got a call saying that I got upgraded to 3-day shipping for free. It actually came in 2 days which kicked ass. This flat iron is very gentle on your hair. It glides smoothly over your hair and gives you a pin straight style that has virtually NO frizz. I am extremely satisfied with this iron's performance and also with Misikko. I ordered my hana recently after I saw the results on a co-workers hair and I absolutely loved it my hair is thick and coarse I had tried the ghd but the 370 set heat temp was mediocre for me I love the ceramic plates of the hana they do not pull or tug your hair at all and the high heat really transformed my hair plus I was able to go over it less times

This is in follow-up to an earlier comment I made. I have used my flat iron and it worked just like the one in the salon (that wasn't a HANA). What fabulous results! The only drawback, is that I can't tell when it has reached the set temp. The light is always flashing red. Otherwise, great product.

last year my mom got me a nano silver conair straightener and it curned and didn't straighten my hair at all. this year she got me the hana professional and i love it. it works way better than my other one and i would not trade it for anything else. i needed the higher heat settings because i have really thick curly course hair.

Omg!!! I have really curly hair that has a mind of it's own and is frizzy. I have used other straighteners, even other high end straighteners and NONE of them could EVER touch my Hana straightener!!!! Although I was really reluctant to try the Hana since I wasn't as familiar with this brand as I was with others (CHI, FHI, Croc, etc) I am so happy I bought the Hana! The price was what pushed me initially but I am so glad that I went ahead with my purchase! Not only does this flat iron work 100% times better than my old Croc, I have the comfort of knowing that I have a 2 year warranty backing me up.

I have recommened this iron to many people, I wonder if I can get a discount on my next one. Ha
I have really wavy long hair and I just recently started to straighten. I checked around for awhile and it seemed that the Hana Professional 1 Flat Iron was a great buy for the price. the 1 iron has rounded edges which makes it really easy to style and it heats up super fast. On top of the performance, it is really pretty so my friends are always asking about it lol. Thanks Misikko!
Money well spent, was tired of buying the cheap flat irons that really didn't work. This was the best thing I have done for my curly and sometimes unruly hair! Awesome!
I have only used this once so far but I love it. It was delivered in two days. It comes with a nice carrying pouch, packaged beautifully. I noticed how light it is and I love the swivel cord. My old one didn't have that and it makes a big difference. It heated up really quick and it really smoothed my hair. I will rate it again after a couple of weeks, but so far I love it
