I Love This Flat Iron ... My Hair Colorist Used It In My Hair & I Absolutely Fell In Love With It. My Hair Is Curly, Wavy, & Straight ... Ugh Its A Mess. Before This Flat Iron I Was Using A Conair, What A Difference ... With The Super Star My Hair Was Sooooo Much Softer And Looked Soooo Much Healthier. Sadly Because I Didnt Take Very Good Care Of It I Ruined It. When I Would Put It Away I Wrapped The Cord Around The Iron While It Was Still Hot And It Melted Through The Rubber Wire Covering :( ... For The Past, Hmmmm , Year And A Half I've Been Using A Chi Flat Iron ... I Am Not Happy With It. As A Result I Dont Flat Iron My Hair As Much As I Use To. The CHI I Bought Does Not Have A Temp Setting So Its Just REALLY REALLY HOT And Now The End Of My Hair Are Badly Damage Especially My Bangs. I Had To Get A CHI Because I Was Unable To Find The Super Star. Now That I've Found It Time To Save Up So I Can Buy It ASAP!!!
I think that this is my favorite ceramic coated iron because it works so much better than my chi and infrashine but I recently got an elite from my sister's salon and now I get why people are all talking about pure ceramic... it really makes that much of a difference. Even my boyfriend who rarely notices anything I do with my hair told me that it looks nice!! MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!
The Superstar is a wonderful flat iron. It leaves my hair glossy and sleek. It gets really hot so it helps set curls in my long, straight hair. The customer service from Misikko was stellar! I had an issue with my original order and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Who says customer service doesn't exist?
I bought this through my salon and LOVED it! Sadly, it died today. My son dropped it on the kitchen floor and it's broke. RIP straightener. I am buying the same one, b/c I loved it so much! It can do curls and straighten. I haven't used a curling iron in 8+ years.
This flat iron is the best. I've had lots of different flat irons. When I curl my hair with this one, it stays. None of the other irons I had could do that. I think this is way better than the Chi and Ghd. I HIGHLY recommend it!
I have had this flat iron for about 4 years. It works great. Unfortunately, the plug went bad and my dad had to replace it. My mom bought hers a few months before me and has absolutely no troubles. I definitely recommend this flat iron.
i've had it for four years, and the only reason i'm needing a replacement is because i took it to Europe and tried to use it......not a good idea. i was devastated, and this is the only straightener i will use. i love the fact that it has a heat dial, because my hair is very fine and the lower heat settings make it so my hair doesn't look frizzy/fried after i use it.
The absolute best straightener I have ever owned! Mine broke after a few years and I have been searching for it online ever since.. I’m so glad they re-released it! It curls and straightens and makes your hair VERY smooth and shiny.... I would recommend this straightener over the CHI and Paul Mitchell any day!

I've been looking everywhere for this product. I got one around 202008-03-04 and absolutely loved it! However the cord finally shorted out due to mishandling last year and my hair has been a mess ever since. I've yet to find another straightener that can compare. I got the maxiglide as substitute, and after trying to style my hair as I would with the superstar, I just decided that I would be better off wearing my hair natural. I am so excited it's back. my search is finally over. I'm getting it right away.
I was looking for a straightener that didnt frizz my hair or damage it. This straightener worked awesome. I have tried so many straighteners and this product is the only one that worked. Works for any type of hair! My mom and I use it all the time. We both love it!
I've had this product for 7 years, bought it from my salon. It was my first straightener, and at the time I thought it was expensive. But it lasted for 7 years and is totally worth the cost.
This is by far the best straightener! I owned one for several years and it recently broke and I could not find another and was forced to order a different one. I hated it and it made my hair look damaged. When I went back online to try to find another one (of course losing the $150 I spent on the other), by some miracle the SuperStar was back on the market and I ordered it right away. I would recommend this to anyone who has a hard time straightening hair. It makes you hair shiny, soft and smooth looking. LOVE IT!!!
This was my first straightener and I was very hesitant to buy it because of the price, but I have had it for 3 years and its still THE BEST straightener I have ever used! Money well spent!
