I have had this flat iron for a little over 5 years. It has been used and abused, including 2 years of very rough handling in the dorms where my 3 roommates and I were all using it almost everyday. It still functions great even though it looks kind of beat up. This is a really good flat iron and I recommend it to anyone.
I've owned this for 2 years now, and I don't know what I'd do without it! My hair is uncontrollable at times. This works so well to flatten and straighten and calm my hair!! I just ordered another for my boss...I should get a promotion after this!
This is my second flat iron from Paul Brown, and I love, love, love it. I have thick curly hair, and my hair comes out so silky smooth. Ive been through a few flat irons who couldn't compair with the results I get from my Paul Brown. My first PB iron latsed 3yrs and I would never think of buying anything but a Paul Brown. I just wish it lasted forever, but with these prices I was very pleased I didn't have to shell out $300 as most are listed.
I decided to tweak my hair routine a bit and get a new iron. I chose this one. It is so simple and a breeze to use, I'm over the moon with my purchase and the results I've gotten from it.
This is actually my Second Paul Brown and my old one just die after 4 years of solid use. I actually like this superior model much more than my older one.
I had one paul brown flat iron that sadly bit the dust and shortly after i used my friends chi which completely burnt my hair! Paul Brown has the best flat irons, they make my hair so soft! I just purchased another paul brown flat iron and this price is awesome!
Okay so here's the scope. I've been buying flat irons since I was 13 years old, I am now 27. I have been through a tough road trying to find a flat iron that would make my hair straight and keep it that way for the rest of the day. I happened to get my hair done at a salon and the hairdresser was using this flat iron that was really getting my hair straight.I was like "where did you get that flat iron?" and she said "Oh we order them for our salon but I can order one for you ". I was like okay and she told me it would be 200 bucks plus tax.I have never spent that much on a flat iron, but I could not resist. Well I have had that flat iron for almost seven years and yes I have to admit I had dropped it several times and it was worn out but it still heated up really good and just a couple of days ago I dropped it and it finally broke for good. I was so upset. I have another flat iron but omg it seems like it gets my hair straight for that instant it is on my hair but once my hair is exposed to the air it gets all nappy and gross again.So I was like I need to definitely buy another one, but I did not want to spend a lot.Thank god I found this website and found it for half the price! I can not wait for it to come in the mail.My hair needs it badly.!!
I bought a PB for my daughter 6 years ago...6 YEARS!!! It is by far the best flat iron for the money. I am ordering 2 for Christmas presents this year (1 for each of my older daughters) as the first one finally gave out. Actually, just the cord has a problem, not the iron itself. Great value.

I have gone through several different flat irons over the years and was skeptical at first about paying $100 for a flat iron. Then again, I was considering pay even more for a Brazilian Blow Out. My friend recommended Paul Brown to me. I have very frizzy somewhat curly hair.My hair has become less curly after all the years of straightening it. I can truly say I am in love with my Paul Brown flat iron. My hair is as flat and as smooth as can be. It doesnt take long for it to heat up and straighten which is crucial with my busy schedule. I would highly recommend buying it. The best $100 I have ever spent!
it worked great im buying another one because mine fell 2 feet off my makeup counter on to the rug and stopped working it worked for 5 yrs or more but i didnt clean it overall a GREAT straightner i bought a different one and its NOT the same i have crazy curly hair and it rocks for it :) im upset cuz it broke buut it rocks so thats why rated it as "good" and not "excellent" thats just my opinion tho really study on it (research) before u buy one OMG i luuuuv the Twilight series im their BIGEST fan!!!

I've been using this iron for the last 3 years with no complaints and same with my sister. We are 1/2 Asian with thick, kinda frizzy, dark hair so we use the higher heat setting (370 - 400) and it makes our hair look perfect. Of course, use a serum or something to protect your hair and when done, clean any product that 2008-05-have been built up on the plates off. And yes, always unplug when done using it....like I said, 3 years its been great to me!

I have extremly crazy curl hair and this straightner gets it completly straight, keeps in moisture, lasted me now 5 years and I basically used it everyday at the top temp. Even works amazing for curling hair, way better than any curling iron. I suggest this flat iron over any.
I’ve been using this product for nearly three months about three-four times a month. It straightens amazingly well and leaves your hair feeling smooth and frizz-less (when used with correct non-frizzing/heat protection products, of course.) But remember to use proper straightening etiquette, ladies! Its a powerful, salon quality styling tool. 300 degrees is usually best for most women with normal hair types. Nobody wants damaged hair so use this product carefully since it experiences little to no heat loss when transferring heat from its plates to your hair. Great straightener, but, use with caution. If you’re one of the ladies with long hair that want your hair done in 2008-10-15 minutes, make it 15-25 since the plates are smaller and you should be straightening at a healthier heat like 300 degrees.
