Please note:

The light band will flash until the iron has reached the specified temperature. At this point the light band will remain on and the iron is ready to use. If a new temperature is set the light band will start to flash again until it is ready for action.

I just recvied this flat iron in the mail today, and let me tell you it is A M A Z I N G! :D I have very, curly and thick course hair and it straightens it in less then 30mns. I also have a Paris Hilton Cleberty Styler and that flat iron pulls you hair and this one is SO much nicer...you get what you pay for and this was WORTH the money! :] I am very happy with my buy, i think this is better than a CHI or GHD. It makes your hair soft silky and smooth && it did it all under 30mns for my type of hair. It heated up in a couple of seconds! I was amazed! Also when you use it wet it works like never before, it leterly makes it dry and smooth perfect for when im in a rush and i just get out the shower and on my way to work. :D Like i said i REALLY love this flat iron it's the BEST i ever had and i totally recommended it to anyone!
